Merewether DCC is a longstanding and well-respected club, located on Newcastle’s East Coast. The Lions have a rich and storied history, with a reputation built upon respect, success and inclusion. Recently celebrating its Centenary Anniversary in 2022, Merewether is certainly not stuck in the past but instead maintains an eye on the future. Particularly recently, the Club has fostered a strong and dependable relationship with Merewether District Junior Cricket Club, of which we are immensely proud. Part of the Club’s mantra is an inclusive environment, highlighted by its membership of the Good Sports program. 

Merewether aims to continue to be the benchmark for not only competitive cricket, but also the development of junior cricket in Newcastle.
