With Towson Oval being one of few fields fit for play our number 1 team gave Charlestown the difficult task of chasing 371. With cloud cover around the chance of more rain was always a possibility but luckily enough the rain came late and was not bad enough to stop the 90 overs being played.

The lads bowled well and where able to obtain first innings points after bowling Charlestown out for 106 in the 41st over. Mark Cameron was the best of the bowlers ending with figures of (6-33) well supported by Josh Geary (3-4).

Charlestown where put back into bat with a further 49 overs to play in the day and at one stage where 6 for 48 but a very gutsy 112 run 7th wicket partnership for Charlestown was able to hold us out for the remaining overs. Best bowler for the second innings:  Courtney Moulton (2-19).
