A Grade (Managers Report) 28/11/15
Not much to say about this one! Merewether lost the toss and Tech decided to bat first on a good wicket.
Everything was going to plan with the boys rolling Tech for 72 and Lyle McGuigan in his second game back taking 8/29.
Maybe the boys were over confident or maybe Tech just bowled too good but Merewether were rolled for just 42! young Rohan Davis top scored with 15 no ,other than that the score card looked very disappointing .
But as they say one bad game doesn't make a season and we will cop our first loss of the season on the chin and worry about next game.
A Grade (Managers Report) 5/12/15
The boys played Journeyman and lost the toss as usual with Journeyman choosing to bat first.
After some dropped catches but consistent bowling Journeyman scraped 111 runs on a fast out field and solid deck.
Adam Britt was best of the bowlers with 5/33.
Keen to get last weeks poor batting display out of the boys minds we started strong with most of the top order getting a start and getting the runs wickets 3 down.
Brad Davies top scored with 71no.

Day 2: 5/12/15
Our guys had done a great job in the past week and gave the Wallsend 3rd grade batters a difficult job to chase down 272 for the win. Wallsend managed to bat for an extra 51 overs this week but never troubled the total and finished 10 for 181.

Play was called after another 35 overs had been bowled and Wallsend managed to get to a total of 3 for 112 and captains decided no chance of outright seemed possible.
Best with Ball: Josh Geary (2-23)
Under 21 Competition Pool A Round 3 - Sun 29 Nov 2015
Our under 21s travelled out to Toronto to play on Sunday. And after losing the toss had to field first.
Toronto’s Batters mad sure it was a long day out in the field before it would come our chance to bat but our young side did well to keep Toronto to a total of 8 for 213 off their 50 overs.
Best with Ball: Dylan Stuart (4-42) & Mitch Piller (2-31)
